Mirko van Vliet

Mirko van Vliet is a strategic advisor at the Amsterdam Economic Board. He focuses on knowledge development and collaboration between the Board’s metropolitan challenges. In addition to his focus on future scenarios for the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area and organizing Future Labs, he focuses on the topics of Data and AI.

Mirko previously studied International Political Economy at the University of Groningen and has studied the sustainable development of cities. He is broadly interested in data-driven approaches to tackle urban issues. Mirko lives in Amsterdam and racing cycling throughout the region.
